CNG: A 21st-Century Transportation Fuel

Compressed natural gas (CNG) can help make our economy less dependent on foreign oil and more reliant on domestic fuel sources. Natural gas is abundant in North America and will be for some time to come, making CNG a more affordable alternative to gasoline or diesel. In addition, CNG is a cleaner burning fuel, helping to protect our air quality and public health. For these reasons, CNG fueling infrastructure is expanding across the U.S. to meet the surging demand and now has arrived in Idaho with new public fueling stations open for business in Boise and Nampa.
